Insulation Upgrades

The majority of existing homes in Saskatchewan have inadequate attic insulation to maximize heating and cooling efficiency. In our frigid winter months, inapt insulation can cause your home to lose heat, which  forces your furnace to run longer in order to keep your home at a comfortable temperature. In the summer months, the excessive heat in your attic will transfer to the living space in your home, causing your air conditioning unit (and power meter) to run overtime.
Upgrading your insulation is a sure way to lower your energy bills and make your home more livable, and cost- efficient, all year long.

If you have experienced any of the above, or even damage caused as a result of fire fighters, you may need your attic insulation replaced.

To remove your existing insulation, we will use our advanced Heat Seal Insulation vacuum system. The main vacuum component will be placed outside your home or business, keeping dust to a minimum. The vacuum hoses are run either through an open window or if you prefer, the front/back door.

Our team will carefully walk through your attic space and thoroughly remove all of the loose insulation from every corner and open space possible. Any remaining batts are either broken down and fed into the vacuum or bagged and removed by hand.

Once completed, the entire area is vacuumed again right down to the drywall (or your existing vapor barrier). Your attic will then be ready for the next phase of your project.

We will dispose of the debris we gather from your attic. We take great pride and care to ensure that everything is neat and orderly before we leave each site.

We do not remove vermiculite insulation.
